The best type of leader for me is a leader who can get to know me personally or has some type of personal connection with me. I like being able to easily confront them with an idea or solution and not feel intimidated. A good example of someone I truly consider a good leader is my the teacher I had when I was in preschool. I still talk to her and visit her as often as I can. She is very supportive and is a helpful reference for me to go to. A main reason why I think I consider her a good leader is because she has a certain personal connection with me.
Another quality I like in a leader is that they are able to have fun but at the same time, keep things under control. I like when a leader doesn't act like they are better than you just because they are more experienced or have more power. Sadly, my ideal leader does not come around too often, but when they do I become more successful and my work ethic increases. Overall, having a leader that fits me well helps me in my life as a whole.
