Part I
Sentence 1: During the renaissance, bibles began to hold information instead of just monasteries holding the information.
Sentence 2: During the renaissance, the population began to grow which was a big turn around from when the population was very low.
Sentence 3: During the renaissance, there was a food surplus which lead to trading and job specialization.

Part II
The most important theme on the list  is food surplus. The food surplus allowed people from that time to have more free time. This led to job specialization which allowed people to settle down and stay in one place. They began discovering new technologies. They were then able to trade food, technologies, and information. They were no longer considered nomads. Having more food also led to an increase in population because people began to live longer. The food surplus did not only provide a secure and healthy life for the people of the renaissance but it also led to many other advances in that time period.

Part III

The age of the Enlightenment is best expressed as the aged of progress. Everything that happened during that time helped advance everything like a chain reaction. Things were not going very well but when the Enlightenment age came around things began to progress. New technologies were being discovered, science began to take place, and the population began to grow. Everything was beginning to move along like any normal civilization is run.

Part IV
Voltaire was an important figure during the Enlightenment age. He fought to keep religion alive while everyone else was questioning the church and their beliefs. He also believed that god is a clockmaker, he made the clock, set it, and left it to run its self. http://io9.com/5699717/voltaires-secret-career-as-a-science-fiction-writer In this article, it talks about Voltaire and his part is the enlightenment time period. It talks about how he was very interested in learning about Newton. Newton was the one  who started the science revolution which began to contradict religion. Religion is what was holding most of the society together at that time. Voltaire began to pull the two together.

Part V
Something that has had a major impact on my life is the death of my uncle and the lung cancer which continues to spread to the rest of my family. I always grew up being taught that cigarettes are bad, but, that's the way most children are raised. Cancer didn't really phase me until it entered into my life. After a four year fight over lung cancer, my  uncles body became weak as the cancer spread to his brain and stomach. He was a smoker his whole life and never considered the consequence but now I understand what I need to do in my life. My other uncle is now also fighting several tumors which are located on his lung. This experience has greatly changed my life, I completely refuse to smoke anything whatsoever so one day I will grow old and be able to tell my children that I have never smoked in my life.
